Forest Kirk Uniting Church is a friendly, vibrant, and open community inspired by the love of Christ to care for one another and support the flourishing of our local area. Please feel warmly invited to join us on a Sunday at 9:30am for our worship service (which includes a specialised KidzChurch during school terms) or contact us if you'd like to know more. |
There is parking outside the church on Fitzpatrick Ave West, and on Ann St and Grace Ave. If coming on Public Transport there are several Forest Coach Lines buses that stop at Forestway shops, a three minute walk from the church.
As members of the Uniting Church in Australia we seek to honour the covenant with the United Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress, recognise the Sovereignty of the Indigenous People of this land, and commit ourselves to working together for justice, repair, and reconciliation.
We acknowledge the continuing sovereignty of the Gayamaygal and Gadigal over this country, and the right and responsibility of their elders, past and present, to care for it according to a wisdom passed down over more than four thousand generations. We give thanks for the ancestors who formed this land and gifted it to the Gayamaygal and Gadigal to care for. We commit ourselves to work and to pray towards a more just settlement for all Indigenous people.
