Sunday 9:30am

Forest Kirk Uniting Church is on the corner of Warringah Rd and Fitzpatrick Ave West Frenchs Forest
(parking on Fitzpatrick)

Each Sunday we gather together to hear Scripture, sing and pray together, proclaim good news, and share stories of thanks, struggle, hope, and joy.  It is a time where we help one another remember and experience God’s love for us.

Though we can come before God in prayer and worship anytime/anywhere, this time on a Sunday morning is carved out intentionally to have our imaginations shaped by the Spirit (through the symbols of the faith and stories of the Gospel), so as to know ourselves as sent to participate in God’s making right of all that is wrong.

During school terms we have KidzChurch, find out more here.
You can find a selection of recent sermons here.

There is parking outside the church on Fitzpatrick Ave West, and on Ann St and Grace Ave. If coming on Public Transport there are several Forest Coach Lines buses that stop at Forestway shops, a three minute walk from the church.

As members of the Uniting Church in Australia we seek to honour the covenant with the United Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress, recognise the Sovereignty of the Indigenous People of this land, and commit ourselves to working together for justice, repair, and reconciliation.

We acknowledge the continuing sovereignty of the Gayemagal and Gadigal over this country, and the right and responsibility of their elders, past and present, to care for it according to a wisdom passed down over more than four thousand generations. We give thanks for the ancestors who formed this land and gifted it to the Gayemagal and Gadigal to care for. We commit ourselves to work and to pray towards a more just settlement for all Indigenous people.

***

Forest Kirk Uniting Church recognises the full equality of all people to share in ministry, leadership, and worship, regardless of gender, culture, race, sexuality, ability, education, or socioeconomic status. We attest that in Christ these dividing walls, so often used to bruise and divide, have been overcome and broken down, and a better unity (without uniformity) is possible through the power of the Spirit! So please feel welcome to come by.
